Just three miles from Glamis Castle, the childhood home of the Queen Mother, Braveheart Cottage stands in the grounds of Drumkilbo House, a handsome 19th century listed country house. Set in an undulating, rural landscape, this late Victorian stone cottage is spacious, very comfortable and refurbished to a high standard with co-ordinated soft furnishings and country pine throughout. It is just one mile from Meigle for local shopping and eighteen miles from Perth, which has a good range of shops and amenities. Excellent golf courses can be found in the surrounding area, not to mention Gleneagles and St Andrews, both of which are within an hour's drive. The area also boasts fine loch and river fishing, as well as shooting, pony trekking and hill walking.

The cottage is all on one floor and has an open plan living / dining room with living-flame gas fire, a well-equipped kitchen, one double bedroom with en-suite shower room / WC, one twin-bedded room, and a separate bathroom / WC. It is available throughout the year on a weekly self-catering basis.

Sightseeing close by includes Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, Stirling Castle, Pitlochry, Blair Castle, Dunkeld, St Andrews, Discovery Point, Verdant Works and the Frigate Unicorn.
